London is home to many large sport venues which are designed to host anything from football finals to NFL. While the stadiums are just the thing for big events, they are also perfect for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners and more. Sport venues provide an amazing atmosphere for your delegates to enjoy and add a unique and exciting attraction to your event.
With IBTM World 2016 just around the corner, we would like to introduce you to the sport venues sharing the London stand G10 with us in Barcelona.
Emirates Stadium – Arsenal Football Club
First is Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club. It is a breath-taking sporting arena that is also an innovative meetings and events venue. There are a variety of event spaces available to suit anything from a conference to an exhibition. Their stadium is located 30 minutes from central London and 14 minutes from St Pancras International Station, with event spaces that can cater from a cosy 14, up to 1,200 attendees.
For occasions that require a touch of 'Arsenal Magic' you can include a stadium tour to see behind the scenes. They can also arrange additional services to complement your events, such as wine tasting and photography.
Next is Wembley Stadium, that will inspire your delegates from their very first glimpse of Wembley’s imposing arch.
As the largest stadium in the UK it may spring to mind for very big events, however Wembley is also ideal for more intimate gatherings. Their event spaces can cater from as little as 8 for a meeting, and up to 3,250 for a banquet. Wembley’s unique history and atmosphere will ensure that your event is unforgettable, whether it’s held in the vast Great Hall or the more intimate Wembley Suite. Wembley Stadium also has good transport links and accommodation options nearby. It’s hard to imagine a more iconic venue than Wembley.
Chelsea Football Club – Stamford Bridge
Our third and final stadium is home to Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge. They are a leading London meeting and events venue, boasting 25 function rooms and 60 syndicate rooms.
Also available at Stamford Bridge are two hotels, a choice of restaurants and a luxury health club and spa, all on top of the exciting opportunity to tour the stadium. The stadium combines their state-of-the-art event facilities with a range of additional services to complement your delegate’s experience, whether for business or pleasure (or both!). No matter what your event, they can offer something for everyone.
