Now that the weather seems to have perked up and the April snow is (hopefully) a thing of the past, we wanted to highlight some fabulous venues offering outdoor event spaces for the warmer months.
This stunning Grade II listed building offers nine versatile spaces to hire, accommodating meetings of 10 up to banquets of 5,000 and outdoor events of 40,000. There are also several outdoor and terrace areas overlooking London’s famous skyline which can be hired for team building activities, BBQs and outdoor receptions – providing an unusual and exciting location for corporate away days and summer parties. On-site activities include a pitch & putt course, ice rink and boating lake, which can also be incorporated into your package. The north London venue is very well connected to central London via public transport and holds up to 1,500 complimentary car parking spaces.
WWT London Wetland Centre
In leafy south west London, a short hop from the city centre, WWT London Wetland Centre is an idyllic spot to hold any event. The 105 acres of scenic lakes, pools and meadows are complemented by first rate facilities, excellent transport links and ample free parking.
Pavilion at the Tower of London
For a more traditional approach, the Pavilion at the Tower Of London offers guests an ultimate VIP experience in an area that is usually closed off to visitors. Set within the North Moat of the Tower of London, the private garden space surrounding the Pavilion offers superb opportunities for outdoor entertaining, whether it is al fresco dining or a drinks reception.
This beautiful Georgian church at Trafalgar Square offers eight attractive and flexible event spaces, from contemporary meeting rooms to the underground 18th century Gallery in the Crypt. For sunny days, the outdoor Café in the Courtyard is open from April to October, and is the ideal spot to serve food and drinks. Its canopy covering can be put up or taken down depending on the weather.
