Built in 1931, The Dorchester was designed as the perfect grand hotel, ultra-modern in its convenience, traditional in its atmosphere and service. The hotel boasts 250 rooms, including 53 suites, all individually decorated in a sumptuously comfortable English Country House style and fully equipped. All the rooms have been totally refurbished in a ten million-pound restoration programme in 2002.

There is a wealth of dining choices, including traditional British food in The Grill Room, Cantonese in The Oriental Restaurant, Italian cooking in The Dorchester Bar and traditional Afternoon Tea in The Promenade. Fully air-conditioned banqueting rooms.
